DTAL Conference 2024

ELL Teachers will engage in an interactive experience as a student and a teacher in the IXL platform to explore ways that IXL can support English Language Learners. Teachers will learn how to use students’ WIDA ACCESS scale scores to assign the exact skills to boost their English Language proficiency. We will navigate through the platform exploring the comprehensive skills and the diagnostic tools that can help teachers identify and target each student’s learning needs. To ensure all ELLs can learn and grow, IXL has just made their content available in 50 languages. Teachers will learn how to make on-demand language support available to each student in their native language.
