Are you looking for ways to promote conceptual connections and foster deep learning in your classroom? We’ve got you covered with critical thinking strategies from the book Vertical Differentiation for Gifted, Advanced, and High-Potential Students by Emily Mofield. We will explore various strategies to ignite learning and stretch student thinking in the areas of analysis, problem solving, creativity, constructing arguments, and metacognition. The scaffolds and supports presented will range from “tried & true” thinking models to new & innovative ideas to add to your instructional practices. You will leave with concrete resources and strategies to extend learning for all students.
