Exploring Gifted Foundational Pedagogy: Introduction to Kaplan's Depth and Complexity Model LIMITED

This session will highlight Sandra Kaplan's Depth and Complexity model to demonstrate how to uncover deeper understanding of content for gifted and advanced learners. Participants will be introduced to multiple Kaplan prompts and will explore how to create high quality curriculum and authentic tasks using the model. The session will also spotlight new prompts for implementing Kaplan's model throughout the classroom.
