DTAL Conference 2024

This workshop will briefly overview the four domains of cultural competency outlined by the Virginia Board of Education. Participants will then explore specific strategies and resources that support Domain 4 - Community Engagement and make connections to VBCPS guiding documents. This workshop helps educators understand effective strategies and practices that engage families and community stakeholders in ways that affirm and validate their contributions. This course is one of many opportunities to fulfill the cultural competency training requirement for licensed staff.
