DTAL Conference 2024

This workshop will briefly overview the four domains of cultural competency outlined by the Virginia Board of Education. Participants will then explore specific strategies and resources that support Domain 3 - Learning Environment and make explicit connections to Standards 5 and 6 in the VBCPS evaluation rubric. Participants will engage with several strategies that build positive and appropriate relationships and cultivate mutual trust and shared ownership of learning. This course is one of many opportunities to fulfill the cultural competency training requirement for licensed staff.
