DTAL Conference 2024

This workshop is designed to introduce educators to the four domains of cultural competency outlined by the Virginia Board of Education. During this introductory workshop, participants will build a deeper understanding of cultural competency, make connections between the VBCPS Graduate Profile and the four domains of cultural competency, and reflect on dimensions of diversity within their classrooms and workplaces so that we foster academic achievement, growth, and empowerment of all students. This course is one of many opportunities to fulfill the cultural competency training requirement for licensed staff.
